Play She Don’t Mind Holding The Pole
By Neil Dover, Jimbeau Hinsom

She likes to feel the sun on her face and
Dip her little toes in the water
She’s only here cause I wanna fish
But It’s hard to keep my eye on the bobber
When she bends over that cooler
Throws me a cold one lookin’ over her shoulder you know
Even though
She don’t want to fish it’s times like this
She don’t mind holding the pole

She rocks the boat to the radio
Rubin’ in that tanning lotion
I’m trying to cast but I keep looking back
At her shimmyin’ and shakin’ on the cushions
Ah now there goes that little green bikini
Right over the side of the boat
Uh oh
She don’t want to fish but it’s times like this
She don’t mind holding the pole
Here we go

Wow oh she ain’t gonna catch it
No oh no umm she ain’t gonna clean it
All she gotta to do is set that hook and let go
And I’ll bait um and string um and catch um and clean um cause
She don’t mind holding the pole

Those fishin’ cops know my old boat
And they’re always pullin’ up beside us
Awl they don’t care that my tag out of date
They just love to check her fishing license
And she bends over that cooler throws um a cold one
Lookin’ over her shoulder you know
She says boys I ain’t here to fish but in a pinch
I don’t mind holding the pole

Wow oh she ain’t gonna catch it
Lord no she ain’t gonna clean it
All she gotta do is set that hook and let go
And I’ll bait um and string um and catch um and clean um cause
She don’t mind holding the pole
I’ll bait um and string um and catch um and clean um cause
She don’t mind holding the pole
Um Um
Look at that honey you got a bite
Aw reel me in now real slow like
